Based at Henry County airport (HMP), Happy Goat Flying Club was created in 2017 by three airline pilots to promote affordable general aviation flying.  Originally motivated by the needs of their own children and a few friends interested in flying, the club has quickly grown to over sixty members, five airplanes and has flown over 4,000 hours.

Happy Goats' core philosophy has always been to minimize risk and promote safety.  To that goal, two airplanes have recently had firewall forward engine overhauls and shoulder harnesses and traffic displays have been added to all  aircraft.

 

A Continuous Improvement Program means our aircraft are constantly being upgraded and provided with top notch maintenance.

 

Several members are experienced CFIs and offer primary, instrument, and commercial flight training to other members.
